Splines are a simple way to reinforce mitered joinery in box construction. I’ve used them in many of my pieces—both straight splines but also accenting dovetail splines. We have a new take on the spline jig that speeds up the process. We’re slowly working out the kinks in the design, but this new setup has significantly sped up the process. Currently I’m considering both digital plans and a physical jig to ship out—sign up below to be among the first to get updates and potentially be able to submit feedback on design!
